Imran Newaz Khurshid
Mr. Imran Newaz Khurshid is passionate about the Bangladeshi entrepreneurship ecosystem and so he is working on the Entrepreneurship Research Fellowship and School of Entrepreneurship (SoE) at Junction Bangladesh Ltd. His mission is to empower the youth by inculcating among them the knowledge and values of a successful entrepreneur. Imran worked as a Program Specialist at Social Impact 360 in the United States of America as a part of his Professional Fellowship Program supported by the United States Department of State. There he learned valuable knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial leadership which is trying to apply to bring leadership and entrepreneurial skills development among the youth of Bangladesh.
Mr. Imran Newaz Khurshid is a certified trainer from Cambridge University of UK and is an instructor of Cambridge Certificate in Teaching and Learning at Services for Professional Education and Enterprise Development (SPEED). Moreover, Mr. Imran is an Exchange Alumnus of the US State Department and has served as a Program Specialist at Social Impact 360 which empowers the university students in the United States with entrepreneurial skills and attitude to work with the most pressing issues of the society. This Exchange Program was part of President Obama’s “Stand with Civil Society” Agenda that selects leaders making positive changes in their own countries to travel to the United States and enrich institutions and organizations based there. In the past, Mr. Imran has been trained at Sweden and Jordan where he attended programs sponsored by the Swedish and the British Government. In Bangladesh, he has trained different target groups including development practitioners from Relief International, National Human Rights Commission, educators pursuing Master of Education (M.Ed.) at University of Dhaka, Young Political Leaders at Democracy International, and more.
